Top 25 Movie Debates aka Legislative Branch Simulation:
Committee: Assign a chairperson, pick a movie topic
Debate: students will bring in their top 10 list, chair will show approx. 20 movie trailers from the combined list.
Nominations: Students nominate the movies that they would like to see on the Top 25 list.
Voting: If there is more than 25 student will nominate and vote until they have the top 25 and then continue to nominate and vote.
Nomination/Voting procedure:
One student nominates/ must be seconded/ class must raise hands to vote/ must be 2/3rds majority to pass.
