They were originall founded in New York and grew into an international organization. They provide serves to help women to find jobs and stay employed.

They serve people from rural america to inner-city nighborhoods. They provide outreach programs that deal with today’s most pressing social needs. St. Charles Children’s Home is another service provided by the New Hampshire Catholic Charities. They prvide a safe, loving, and stable home environmet for children who cannot be in their own homes du to neglect or abuse. Since they have faced many burdens at such a young age the staff tries to heal the wound of the children who are living there.

CHaD(Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth) is the only children’s hospital in New Hampshire. Their mission statement states, “To provide the highest quality health care and comfort the ill, to prevent illness and injury among the well, and to advance pediatric health care through education, research, the improvement of clinical care, and the provision of advocacy in the interest of children and their families.”

The New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence is basically just as it sounds. They are dedicated to ending domestic and sexually abuse. They seek to ensure that quality services are provided to victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence; prevent future violence by educating the public; influence public policy; and encourage the provision of services for perpetrators.

Health and Senior Care Service is yet another service run by the New Hampshire Catholice Charities. They provide exceptional care that meets the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of those they serve. The centers offer residents and short term patients a warm and friendly atmosphere. They provide long-termcare, dementia/Alzheimer’s care, and skilled nursing/short-term rehab.

The New Hampshire Food Bank is apart of the Catholic Charities of New Hampshire. They have been providing food to the hungry in New Hampshire since 1984. The New Hampshire Food Bank is the only food bank in the state. They recieve all their food from Food America,which is what basically starts and supplies all the food banks in America. They also get food from grocery stores, wholesalers(Sysco, McCauly’s, etc.), farmers and individuals.

The Adoption Services is also apart of the Catholic Charities. They give mothers a chance to give up their baby if they know deep inside that they cant take care of their babies and another home would be a better situation for both the child and the mother. They want to guide and support those who are in a situation likes and help them through every step of the way. They also provide search and reunion programs, ineternational and private adoption support, information services, and cunseling services.
