Many people say that the United States is like a melting pot, or we are full of different backgrounds. We immigrated from certain countries, but people only know about illigal immigration. There are other forms of immigration like:

Alien- A person who is living in the country he is not a citizen from.

Resident Alien- Plans to stay for a long time.

Non-Resident Alien- Plans to stay for a short time.

Enemy Alien- A person who is from an war enemies country.

Illigal alien- Comes into the US to live without legal documentation.

Amnesty- The way the government gives pardon to people.

Private Law- Given for a single person or a group of people.
