Dafur is undergoing a crisis. Over 400,000 people have been killed and about 2 million taken or pushed out of their homes. The war between the Janjaweed Milita and Sudans people have been going on since 2003 and still taking place today. Most people killed are of the Muslim faith. The lucky few that have survived so far still live within the war. The survivors face diseases and hunger. The war even spilled over into Chad, which their people had fled in fear. In 2004 the United States charged Sudan with homocide, and in 2006 a agreement was reached, a peace treaty, Darfur Peace Agreement . But even though Darfur Peace Agreement is in place the Janjaweed contiues.
